Hoot Webinar Series

Dyslexia Cure? IDA's webinar is a good start.

Teaching has always been a difficult profession. In today's educational climate teachers have to do more with less. With as many as 25 students in an average-sized classroom needing attention, how can you possibly keep each one from slipping through the cracks?

Even more challenging, 5 or more of those students could have dyslexia. Without the help they need, these students may never read---- never succeed. But it doesn't have to be that way. Listen and interact with internationally respected reading teacher and educator, Patricia Mathes, Ph.D., as she

  • Explains the causes of poor reading;

  • Reviews evidence of how reading changes brain structure and function; and

  • Shares instructional components that address differences in the dyslexic brain and strengthen key areas of the brain for all readers.

With everything we know today, we can do better. Join IDA and Dr. Mathes in this first of a series of webinars to address the students in your schools that may have dyslexia and other learning challenges.

Together we can empower teachers with knowledge and resources to help them do more with less!

Dr. Mathes will present this informational webinar:

June 14th at 4:00 pm EST and again;

June 15th at 10:00 am EST
